Ashutosh Goyal aged about 38 years from Lucknow is a known patient of Retinitis Pigmentosa since about 1989,however he was carrying his day to day activities with the compromised vision.
In the summers of 2007 he suffered from Chicken Pox as there was an Epidemic of this disease in Lucknow.He eventually recovered from the fever but soon after he noticed that when coming out in the day he was unable to move a single step as he felt that he was in midest of thick dense fog,.However in the night he had a vision as prior to the attack of Chicken Pox.
First he consulted qualified eye specialists in his home town but could not be releived of the symtoms nor there was any explanation from the ophthalamologists about the cause of this disturbed vision,as usually in the Retinits Pigmentosa it is the night vision which is more compromised.
He came to know about the Acupuncture India Centre from the net and came here for treatment along with his mother in the month of May 2007. At that time he was very scared due to nature and severity of disease.
I made a diagnosis on the lines of Traditional Chinese Medicine and found that there was heat and turbid humidity attacking the eyes,so a treatment plan was made and in about 10 sittings there was a good recovery in his fog perception of about 80-90%.
